The Training Division is responsible for ensuring that every department member stay current with all mandated training as well as any other specialty training as a result of equipment or specific rescue scenarios. Most required training courses consist of 1-3 hours of self paced on-line classroom time in addition to any necessary hands-on training. Hands-on classes are scheduled on the first Tuesday of each month and are in conjunction with the on-line training from the previous months. Additional hands-on training courses will be scheduled on weekend days to meet the requirements of 8 or 16 hour mandates.
